Autograph Foodservice has delivered a robust supply chain solution since it’s inception in 1991 and currently delivers circa £30m worth of food to our business.
A corner stone to our supply strategy is our commitment to work closely with our customers to support sustainable development, the use of local produce and the effective protection of the environment. Our primary goal is to accurately identify and explain the environmental impact and cost implications of possible supply chain decisions and thus help to prioritise and achieve solutions to those that are most important to us both.
Improving standards
We have established strong strategic partnerships with key manufacturers and growers to develop stringent ethical trading policies, full traceability and product integrity.
Our purchasing department is certified to ISO 9002 which is a demonstration of independent third party scrutiny and approval of our well-established quality management systems and procedures. The products that we buy are also approved by our state registered nutritionist.
Unlike many of our larger competitors we can use a blend of local, regional or national suppliers to ensure that we get the very best combination of value and service. We also ensure catering managers are fully able to express their preference in the choice of nominated suppliers.
Every Autograph supplier is subject to regular and vigorous health and safety assessments so that we can be confident that our food purchases are 100% safe.
